Here in the Communication Department at Loyola University Maryland, we pride ourselves on running not only the University’s first online degree program – the Master of Arts in Emerging Media – but also a rather unorthodox online program.  How so?  We are completely committed to building a cohesive community of students with both one another and with our faculty.

To honor that promise to encourage and enable networking among them, we held our first Brown Bag Lunch today on our Evergreen campus in Baltimore for our very first cohort of Emerging Media students.  Those who could not attend were able to participate via Adobe Connect.

It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas….

Celebrate a student’s birthday, which just happened to be

Top o’ the holiday to you!

So…who said online learning has to be a solitary pursuit?!
